Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Life Post iOS app and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Life Post, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Life Post.
• If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account & Access

• You may use Life Post as a Guest for limited text generations, or sign in with Sign in with Apple for the full experience.
• You are responsible for the security of the Apple ID associated with your account and for activity that occurs under it.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account.

3. Diamonds & In-App Purchases

3.1 What Diamonds are

Diamonds are an in-app virtual currency used to pay for generations inside Life Post. They have no monetary value outside the app, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable between accounts.

3.2 How Diamonds are obtained

• Trial Diamonds are granted daily to signed-in users, expire at the end of the day, and do not accumulate.
• Paid Diamonds are purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system in fixed-size consumable packs and never expire.

3.3 How Diamonds are consumed

• Each generation deducts a fixed Diamond cost shown on the "Generate" button before you confirm.
• If a generation fails on our side, the Diamond cost is refunded automatically to your balance.
• Trial Diamonds are consumed before Paid Diamonds.

3.4 Purchases & refunds

• All purchases are processed by Apple under your Apple ID. Pricing, payment methods, and taxes are handled by the App Store.
• Because Diamonds are consumable digital goods that may be used immediately, refunds for already-consumed Diamonds are generally not available from Life Post.
• You may request a refund directly from Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund decision is final.
• You can restore previous purchases from Profile → Restore Purchases.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Life Post to:

• Generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Generate sexual content involving minors, or content depicting real, identifiable people in a sexual, defamatory, or deceptive context.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Engage in spam, coordinated inauthentic behavior, engagement manipulation, follower-pump schemes, or other social-platform abuse.
• Generate disinformation, scams, phishing content, or content promoting self-harm, violence, or dangerous activities.
• Probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or its underlying AI providers.
• Bypass Diamond charges, rate limits, or any technical access control.

We reserve the right to refuse a request, withhold output, suspend access, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. AI-Generated Content

• You are solely responsible for what you choose to publish, share, or otherwise act on, including ensuring that it complies with the terms of the platform you post to (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, etc.).
• AI output may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or unintended similarities to existing content. Life Post does not warrant accuracy, originality, or fitness for any specific purpose.
• Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we do not claim ownership of the drafts you generate. Generated content is provided "as is" for you to review, edit, and use.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and text you submit. You grant Life Post a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to transmit and process that input through our AI providers solely to deliver the drafts you request. We do not use your inputs to train models or to build advertising profiles. See the Privacy Policy for full details on third-party processing.

7. Intellectual Property

Life Post, its logo, design system, source code, and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or trade dress without prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on Apple (StoreKit, Sign in with Apple), OpenRouter, and upstream AI model providers (including OpenAI). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages, billing decisions, or content policies enforced by those third parties.

9. Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app.
• We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or expose us or other users to legal or safety risk.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SAFE TO PUBLISH.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFE POST AND ITS DEVELOPERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, REPUTATION, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR DIAMONDS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Life Post and its developers from claims, liabilities, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right (including platform policies of social networks where you publish AI-assisted drafts).

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service, Diamond pricing, or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.

15. Apple-Specific Terms

You and Life Post acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Life Post only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. To the extent these Terms conflict with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, the EULA controls for the conflicting terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
